ABOUT US

Therapy Grounded in Safety & Connection

Intersoma was founded by psychotherapist Hannah Stevenson. Hannah (she/her) is a Masters-qualified, nationally accredited therapist offering integrative, inclusive, and trauma-informed therapy. She provides a compassionate, relational space where clients feel seen, supported, and guided in learning to attune to and soothe their nervous system.

Following her postgraduate studies, Hannah provided counselling and advocacy in the not-for-profit sector, supporting women escaping domestic and family violence, victim-survivors of sexual assault, and individuals impacted by institutional abuse. Hannah has also had the privilege of working with members of The Stolen Generations and Forgotten Australians as a therapist, advocate, and ally.

Hannah’s work is attachment-informed, dynamic, and guided by a biopsychosocial understanding of wellbeing. She has experience supporting people through trauma, grief, parent & relationship challenges, and mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and complex-PTSD. She works with parents and caregivers, neurodivergent individuals, gender-diverse and queer clients, culturally and linguistically diverse people, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Shaped by both professional expertise and her lived experience as a mother and neurodivergent parent, Hannah values connection, autonomy, and kindness. She brings these principles into a personalised, relational, and trauma-informed approach, supporting clients to explore, grow, and strengthen their self-empowerment and well-being.

Hannah lives and works on Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi country. In her spare time Hannah enjoys poetry, music, going to the beach, bush walks, and connecting with her loved ones.

How it works

SAFETY

Sessions are paced to your nervous system with clear boundaries and consent-first choices.

ATTUNEMENT

I listen to words and body cues, adjusting rhythm and offering co-regulation when needed.

COLLABORATION

We set goals together; you lead the pace while I bring tools, reflection and gentle structure.

INTEGRATION

Simple, doable practices between sessions help translate insight into everyday change.
